So here it goes!! My three treasures from Japan!!!
NUMBER 1: CUSTOM MADE KEYCHAIN/PENDANT AT THE TOKYO DISNEYLAND
Tokyo Disneyland was one of my most favorite things when I went to Japan...Disney is and has always been a huge part of my life, so going there was one of the best decisions I have made. Going by myself made it probably better, because I could go wherever I wanted to go. Because I love Disney so much, I wanted to have something that will remember me for the rest of my life and my first time going to Tokyo Disneyland...and I found the PERFECT THING!!!! Not to mention that I was lucky to come in the year of their 30th anniversary!!!
At this store called Cosmic Encounter, you could make your own custom special charm/keychain that is only a Tokyo Disneyland Special. I went for it immediately!!!!
So you got the clear base without anything, and you could choose whatever combination you wanted. You choose first from any of the mascots above. I would have normally decided to take Mickey, however, once I saw that Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas, I immediately took him, because he is one of my favorite cartoon doggies!!!
After that, you choose the balloons, two of them. I chose an L (from my real name Lea) for the left side, and a Yellow 30 balloon for the right side.
After that, you can choose if you want any add ons. Those were just keychains you could add, but of course I wanted Pluto, so I added him and also the Key Ring! (if the mascot would have had Pluto, it would be a hard decision for me, if I want Pluto or Zero, because I love both!)
In the end, I am happy that I could have chosen my two favorite Disney doggies in one merchandise together!!
And THIS is my final product that took them half an hour to make. DAMN IT, YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE HOW HAPPY IT MAKES ME. Best 3000 yen I have ever spent!!! I definitely am going to frame this beauty! <33333
NUMBER 2: GENGAR I <3 GOTHIC PILLOW PLUSH
I have spent a lot of money on those UFO catchers, because they are addicting and a lot of fun. When I was walking through Akihabara on the eleventh day, 22nd of September, of course I checked out some UFO catchers, until I found the I <3 Gothic plush (I didn't bother trying those anymore, middle big plush are hard to catch, while small plush and huuuuge plush are much easier to catch), and I found these!
These Gengar I <3 Gothic pillows! I have watched a couple playing it and how it works.....and I could not resist trying this machine out as well. So I went for it, it wasn't that hard to move the ring that is around the circular thing, however, the ring is around a magnet, so of course it doesn't fall immediately.
So it was a real battle between me and the machine, and then...
MY OWN GENGAR PILLOW PLUSH I CAUGHT!!!!!!! I did it after 15 tries, and once it fell, I irl jumped for joy and wanted to cry from happiness!!!! There were of course some people congratulating me for my win and saw me how excited I was. You can't even imagine how great it feels when you catch something this huge. No, I am not a Gengar collector, but I love just about any Gen 1 Pokemon, because of nostalgia. My Gengar is super super soft and cuddly and I decided to call him Lucky, as cliche as it sounds. So he is my second treasure from Japan and I love him to bits, waaaaah ;A; <33333333
NUMBER 3: NEW TEA KETTLE
MY NEW TEA KETTLE!!! Most friends know how much I love tea and I can't get enough of it...when going to Kyoto, Kyoto was so much more historical, selling even more traditional stuff. I don't have much to tell, expect that it's self explanatory. I thought adding the bunny with bell was a cute idea, since the kettle has a bunny on the top! Now I can enjoy my tea without spilling like 30% of it with my old red tea kettle, which is just some cheap Chinese one that has a bad shaped end that pours the tea to the side rather than into the cups. The kettle cost me only 1400 yen and I bought four cups to that, 4 of them for 300 yen each. That is so much cheaper in contrast to our prices here. Here, it would cost at least 5000 yen to buy such an original Japanese set. So you can imagine how it makes me so happy!!!
And this is where I bought my new tea kettle with cups! It is even near the Peace House Sakura, which was great as well!
So these are the three, which make just endlessly happy and I will remember the most on my Japan trip <3333
And now to the extras!
And these are the plushies that I caught in Kiddyland! Definitely not going to keep them all, so some are open to friends!
I am keeping one Dumbo, each Mickey and Minnie in those two different styles, one Cheshire Cat, Simba, those two mice from the movie I don't remember ad maybe also one Mike and Chip and Dale. But whoever loves them to bits, I am free to give them <3
One Cheshire Cat will be for aarux, one Dumbo is for my friend from Sweden, and maybe one Cheshire Cat will be for my irl friend here, but I will think about it.
The rest can be up for trades for friends or those I am already trading with, so don't be shy to ask <3
The same goes for these rubbery straps that I caught in another UFO catcher! I am keeping both Plutos, the black Mickey head and maybe also the second, Chip and Dale and Minnie...rest are again up for grabs for trade or people who I am already trading with <3
And these are very special trades or gifts....these are special 30th anniversary Disneyland Tokyo pens. There was a Goofy too, which I sent to technicolorcage, since she likes him! I am keeping Pluto and thinking about keeping Mickey and Minnie too....the most right one is both Chip and Dale, just so you know :)
WAH, FINALLY FINISHED! I started typing everything from 12:00 and finished 8:35 PM......oh man, didn't expect it to take that long to type, but oh well X'D
